ACCUMULATION.

Five algorithms in residence. Nothing on this wall existed before you arrived — every work is computed live in your browser, numbered by its seed, and will never be hung again unless you keep that number. Regenerate freely. The gallery does not mind.

Noor Adhamib. 1989, Beirut · 2026

Slow Sediment IV

Seeded sediment bands with flow-field distortion · HTML canvas · dimensions variable

The wall remembers nothing

01 — Curatorial note

A painting is finished once. These works are finished every time. Each artist in ACCUMULATION surrendered a procedure instead of an object: a few hundred lines of arithmetic that, fed a five-digit seed, deposit a single, unrepeatable image. The seed is the provenance. Write it down, send it to a friend, and the same work re-forms on their wall, stroke for stroke.

We hang the results the way any gallery hangs pigment — with mats, plates, and edition numbers — because we believe a procedure deserves a frame as much as a brush does.

Editions

Every work is an edition of one, of infinitely many. Note the seed number on the plate; the same seed always re-deposits the same image.
